GameSalad insists on resizing my images! Why?

When I create images for use in my game I make them in size I want them to be but GameSalad doesn´t care, it thinks that all images should be the same size and forces me to set the size again in the actor attributes. This is very stupid!

Your doing something strange. What version of gs are you using? What is your workflow like? Are you dragging images from the image section right into existing actors already in the gameplay area?

If you apply your images directly to the actors section they should resize to the size of the image you imported. This will NOT resize actors in the play area.

I´m using GameSalad for windows on a pc with windows 8.1 wich makes it hard to follow GS tutorials since all of them seem to be for mac version. Skipped over to Construct 2 and made a working platformer i 10 minutes. Maybe I´ll try GameSalad again if and when I get a mac.. GS desperately needs grid based level editing though...
