what is dis, IMAGE TOO LARGE TO SAFELY PUT INTO GAMESALAD? I cant get jiggy wit dis

i dont remember this being an issue with gamesalad and the way they resized my image i completely hate... basically what i did was took 480 and times it by 5 which equalled 2400 which is the width of my scene image... what am i supposed to do when i start creating the actual levels (because I hand design them and throw in "floors and walls" as long with the enemies... what should i do you guys cause im clueless

    Gs maximum is 2048. You need to cut it up into several pieces in your graphics software.

    Yep, GS can only get jiggy with files no larger than 2048 x 2048.

    If it's an issue, just split a larger file into a few smaller pieces.

    @socks my only thing is the positioning of the images... so since my absence from gamesalad we didnt get a "snap to grid" type thingy did we 0:-)

    Yes, it's all there, snap-to-grid, duplicate, multiple select, on-screen guides, rulers, zoom, step and repeat, live access to parameters (etc), you just need draw them onto your monitor with a Sharpie.

    But @JSproject that photo gives me a great idea... I'll just do my app development in a cage and any time I need a grid I can hold it up to the cage and see where my actors need to be placed. Brilliant!

    @digitalzero the old versions of GS actually had a limit of 1024 pixels so the latest versions have actually been increased.
