Could I use this?

Hi everybody:)
While working with my pirate poker game 95% of my time I have a little side project at the same time.
I try to create a bejeweled similar game. But I have a question about copyright. I wonder if I could use the art in this source code https://code.google.com/p/freegemas/
It is an open source code that is free to use but I haven´t understand if it´s free to use the art in commercial use(I will publish this to the App Store)
Please help me before I continue in anyway with this project.

    In the Project Home tab there's a license link and a member email address. I would recommend contacting the person who posted it.

    Open Source to me means that the code can be used for other purposes but I would not assume that the graphics are also free for use.

    A lot of open source licenses also allow for the use of the code in other projects, but stipulate that the code it is used in be open source too. Not always, of course, but often. So double check that! Open source =/= free for all.
