Where are the beginner templates?

I watched the "Overview of GameSalad Basics" on Youtube by GameSaladCookbook. 20 sec into the video he opens up GameSalad and beginner templates are available to choose from. I don't have that option. Why is that?

    That is likely an old version of Gamesalad used in the video. Some of those templates are available here:

    There are lots of help files and templates available at various user sites too. I have a bunch of beginner tutorials located at my website, linked in my signature below.

    Cool! Thanks for the info and link! When you download it, what's the best way to plug it in?

    Templates, demos, and other project files are not plug-ins and don't require any sort of installation. You simply double-click them to open them in GameSalad Creator.
