Change Velocity lil help

in Working with GS (Mac)
hi all,

Firstly thanks to everyone/anyone who reply's!

I have an actor that I move using the move behaviour, now I want the actor to continue moving in the same direction until it slowly stops a little while later e.g. a ship cant stop on a dime, it takes a little bit to stop.

This is what I'm struggling with, so I'd appreciate it if anyone could help me out.

    Try using an Accelerate Behavior instead of the Move Behavior and make sure and give your actor some Drag under the Physics Settings for the Actor.

    thats working well thank you, on a side note how could i add extra Drag to the actor when back is pressed? I'm new to this but picking up a lot. Again thank you!!

    Rule: When back is pressed change the drag attribute's value to a higher value
    Otherwise change the drag attribute's value back to the normal drag value.

    You could do what Socks mentions above or also consider just using an Accelerate Behavior in the opposite direction when back is pressed.
