To you it works revmob?, Several developers have not Gamesalad impressions or clicks, ads appear but appear 0 impressions ... someone else happens? Please urgently need to know.
okay @uptimistik, I send as bug and GS support say that is a problem of revmob but revmob say that not is them problem and is of GS, Im confuse as client of both companies :S @johnmulcahy then the clicks and impressions that I received for who go? Gamesalad? If I click, Adsvertisment pay, 50% Revmob and 50% user, but who is the user in this case? I sure that not.
GS Support say that is a problem of revmob. sorry to say this, but I see very little professionalism by GameSalad, I just want to publish my game revmob, I still have not posted because of my own device shows impressions that are not recorded in Revmob web, other users like @pinkio75 published their game with many downloads and have not shown but yes prints, too coincidental? They might get more serious answers and get to work to correct the problem. I do not know, it's my honest opinion, they do not recognize as a bug so it is likely to continue into next NB and perhaps GS 11.
I add for stuff GS and support, when I add to game based in Xcode, first I test on MY DEVICE and after if I received impressions on REVMOB WEB I proceed to publish. But in this case, how can I do publish my game if not work correctly?
He raises a valid issue. "Extreme Beta" is fine, but if that extreme beta has issues raised, related to its functionality. Those issues should be diligently investigated. He is right to assume with that response, he shouldnt expect help anytime soon and to put it lightly, that sucks.
GS Support say that is a problem of revmob.
Telling a customer its another companies fault isn't a very good answer. Especially if that other company is one they should have a working relationship with, a notch or two up from just "another customer"... I have had my own problems with GS, but I love the software... its mostly the business side of things that make me scratch my head.
@aitor010 I know you have probably done this. But allow me suggest that you search your projects settings and the publishing settings, and really check over and over again, just to be ABSOLUTELY sure the problem is not something you have control over. Then, once you are beyond certain, I would start to thoroughly document what information you have typed into where. Then start changing the stuff to see if you can narrow down where the problem lies. like you did with xCode. Since we know revmob worked in xCode, skip that part and just focus on experimenting with GS. A detailed explanation from you may seem like enough to hunt down the problem... but that thing that is really important is providing a detailed explanation of HOW to reproduce the problem. This is key to a useful "Bug Report", and if you provide a detailed account of how to reproduce the issue I would guess it could be more effectively investigated.
i agree, if this is a bug it should be investigated, reported and whatnot. Until the feature is released and we have official documentation on how to use it, we're all kinda in the dark.
As long as he has submitted a bug report i think he is in good shape. Sometimes it's helpful to provide the broken project and publisher settings so they can verify if it's a real bug or just bad implementation.
what I really meant to say, is it seems a little premature for anyone to be playing the blame game. I would hope that if he was to sit down and try to reproduce the problem and submit a proper bug report, that this would be an effective first step in finding the solution, whatever the problem may be. A few things could happen, he could try to reproduce it and realize where he went wrong in his implementation... He could successfully document how to reproduce it, and GS sees it as a bug and investigates, finding where they went wrong in their implementation... Or it may actually point to a larger flaw, and GS was just being candid when they said it was Revmobs fault... GS might have to submit a bug report themselves... and wait for Revmob to fix their implementation, then GS can fix theirs, then we can fix ours, and then everyone can totally get their implementation on...
I fully trust GameSalad, all missed me which said, be the fault of the other company, I am also an engineer and it seems to be problem of web integration, but can not say with confidence. Yesterday I received a message where Gamesalad already recognized as a bug, if you will be for the stable functioning properly do not mind waiting if it is not too long. Prefer things well . Then surely for the stable version will work right? In next NB is possible?
I hope sincerely, do not close the thread if there are people to help
not is bad implementation, then, all users bad implementation, today I don't know of people with Revmob work correctly, Im not silly! Not is very difficult, click on enable advertisement on change scene or pause game, in publish click in revmob interstitial ads, in services > revmob insert App key for iphone (In my case) and after generate app, Implementation its true, then is a bug, not my problem but yes affect to me and other users.

until revmob is in the official release consider it extreme beta. it's too early to be expecting it to work perfectly.
