does a Bundle IE always need to start with com?

I've had many problems with publishing my app to the appstore so I started tweaking various settings. Today I decided to change my app's bundle ID - before I had "ie.company.appname" but on every forum I saw it has to start wim "com" but since I made this change I can't even sign the app... What is your experience here?

it doesn't have to. I have a few that start with org.XXXX.gamename

however, once you assign a bundle ID to a game AND release it in the store it can't be changed. it's locked to that game.

com is just the recommended format from Apple. But I always use it

cool, thx guys, so I'll revert to my "ie" and try tweaking something else ;) it's unbelieveble how hard it is to make this publishing working - has it ever worked for you, BTW?

haha, I reverted to "ie" and it doesn't work either now! I believe than that's the problem with GS this time...

i don't think it's a GS problem, what is the exact error you are seeing? I publish multiple adhoc builds a day and they all require signing. I just did one a few min ago.
