what the title says, oh my, today i decided i mite have a look at Coscos2d and see what thats like
i watched this video and my jaws dropped

all of that scripting shocked me. like 2 lines of script just to display an image :0 and in gamesalad its just drag and drop. omg
just thought id say this before more people start complaing that the pro version of gamesalad is to expensive. well its not. its actually a great price for what you get :)

just saying but cocos2d is much better. it fills your time when you got noting to do. in 14 minutes you have a bird moving AND rotating. in gamesalad that will take <1 minutes.

GameSalad is much and much better ;) it also has a better name!

@Basseman I agree with you in some point but I still love gamesalad as you dont need the realy coding blabla... with gamesalad everyone (including me lol) can make a game.

For some types of games, GameSalad just isn't suitable. But for a lot of types of games it takes 1/100th the time to make the game (as opposed to anything based in xcode) and the end user won't notice any difference.

Just depends on what you need.

Totally Agree. It's a tool, just like any other. You choose the best tool for the job.

I agree, GameSalad is a great software, but its not suitable for every game, thats why I'm starting to learn Objective-C ;)
