Flickering screen when downloaded as Mac application

I don't do much developing for Mac... I mostly stick to iPhone/iPad... but I downloaded an app I'm working on so that my wife could put it on her students' OS X 10.6.8 computers and it flickers constantly on every scene. I imagine this has something to do with constraining the camera origin? Anyone else had this problem (maybe it's a known one)?

Well, it was something obvious. I had an actor that was spawning a particles actor every few seconds and it was causing the screen to flicker but only when published as a Mac game. Not when previewed on a Mac in Creator.
I had this same problem when publishing with 10.4 but not on 10.3. and only to mac desktop.

Hmm I've done some Mac stuff and never saw that before. Did you try publishing again?

OS X 10.7.5 with newest Creator. The flicker is about 20 times per second and really hard to look at. X_X

I tried removing the actor that was constraining the camera and re-publishing but it's still happening.
Also removed the recursively spawning actors as I thought that might be causing it, but it's not.

On the plus side, no applause sound!

Deleted actors in groups until the problem no longer occurred. Should have an answer in a little bit...

    Hi @tatiang,

I'm having this problem also, did you make adjustments or just remove the actor that was spawning from the scene?

@Fal01 I just removed it. I wish I had a better answer but the particles weren't necessary and I didn't have time to work towards an alternative.

yea i ran into this as well, it seems particles didn't work well with mac apps. I submitted a bug report about it, but you should too so it didn't only come from me :)
