How do I use Templates?

I downloaded the "Basic Shoot Em' Up" template and I don't know where to put it within the GameSalad files. Can someone help me out? I'm pretty new at this.

Templates are sample project files. There is nowhere to "put it." It's just an example of something you can make or something you can use to build your own game. You're welcome to edit it or just look through it to see how things work.

I was confused for many months until I finished building my first game. Then things made more sense. You may want to check out the tutorials I have linked in my signature. If you follow them, you can complete a game and understand the basics.
