Do I NEED PRO?

I was wondering the inherent need for PRO. I'm creating a game right now that's very simple for the iOS market, and I read that the free version of GS doesn't support in app purchases, iAds, or the Game Center. So I have two questions relating to this.

Can I publish a game and put it on the market in my own name, without going PRO?

and

If I can, Would I be able to purchase PRO after I publish, and add those features if I see the game do well enough to make it worth my while?

Thanks for the help,

The differences between free and Pro come down to three things:

    1. Additional features like opening URLs, twitter integration and (via nightly builds) async multiplayer.

    2. Nightly builds. See the latest developments in GameSalad in semi-regular test builds.

    3. In the free version, ads are inserted into your game promoting other GameSalad apps. These show when the app is launched/returned to. Getting Pro allows you to remove them.
  • So with the free version, are there any options to place ads?
