Evil mario mushroom like attributes

Hey Guys!
I just wanted to ask how to make an actor that if my main actor collides with from the sides, he will get killed, but if he collides with him from the top (if the main actor jumps on him) the actor will die. As in mario and the evil mushrooms.

    Hello Josef and welcome to GameSalad and the forums.

    first to say, it's not good Forums practice to make another thread identical to the one previously... it can cause confusion and clutters the Forums. If you haven't had an answer, wait at least a couple of hours (or longer) for someone to reply...if still no one has replied, just add another post to the first thread, saying "bump" or "anyone can help, please?", and this will bring your thread to the top of the pile.

    I'll delete your first post that's identical to this one now.

    To answer your question, you need to make three invisible actors, who's movements are constrained to the movements of the mushroom (if it's moving); or if its not, placed left and right of the mushroom, half and half, with your main actor gets killed on collision rules inside. Make sure these two are a bit shorter than the height of the mushroom graphic.

    The third invisible actor is placed over the top of the mushroom, and in it's rules, put the collision & destroy behaviour.
