Just a quick announcement for our upcoming game and a bit of info how it was born...

We wanted a game with simple mechanics ala Flappy Bird so i came up with the following mech of tap to fly while moving from side to side, i then added some hazards at the top and bottom and decided to do some enemies at the sides that slide up and down.

The game name was the biggest influence, from early on it was always called Blocky Bird so Chris went away and designed all the art using only blocks (rectangles).

It's honestly the most addictive game i have ever made (ask my friends) with the average play time between 30 seconds and 2 minutes its a perfect little time waster.

    Like everything you make I love it. The fact I tried to press the play button on the video was a good sign!

    And I love @DeadlySeriousMedia 's game as well. I'd download both, both a similar concept but feel far different in terms of the gameplay I've seen.


    Got a feeling there's going to be a new round of clones on the way when people see both your games though... ;)

    With sales being slow for free decided to pop it up to tier 1 for a week or two then lower back to free so the price drop sites pick it up.
