Can I switch to mac from PC before I finish my game?

Hi, I had trouble using windows and several members suggested switching to mac. Can I switch to mac from PC before I finish my game? Can I go back and forth between mac and PC? Thanks!

They aren't 100% compatible (there is a cross-platform version in the works) but you can definitely switch from PC to Mac. It usually just involves renaming the file extension to .gameproj. And the video in the Video tab here explains how to go the opposite way: http://gshelper.com/shop/free-templates-and-tutorials/mac-to-windows-template-conversion-gamesalad-tutorial.

hi i do this all the time and i find renaming the file doesnt work properly, but what does work 100% is the following:

open up your project in gamesalad on windows, click file then export, and make sure you export it as the .zip file choice. next put that zip file on a USB and transfer it onto your mac, double click the zip file once its on your mac and your done, now you can open the file on a mac and all rules and everything works 100%, well it does for me atleast

Hi, Thank you both for the help. I have trouble playing my game after I published in the arcade. It played fine in my preview on PC, I don't know if PC version of creator just have more bugs, so I was thinking if I rerun my game in mac version, and then upload it, will it work?
