My .apk file is incorrect please help.

in Working with GS (Mac)
I get this error when i try to upload my file to the google play store. I used a zip as it asked me for it but still nothing please help me.

Upload failed
Your APK cannot be analyzed using 'aapt dump badging'. Error output:
Failed to run aapt dump badging:
ERROR: dump failed because no AndroidManifest.xml found

    are you uploading the signed or unsigned package?

    i think google play requires the unsigned package. at least it used to when I was using them.

    Sorry that didn't work either same error could it be the zip. I just got my mac coming from a windows 7 so I'm not amazing at it yet but know the basics

    it could be a bug, make sure you submit a support ticket. It's looking for an androidmanifest.xml file within the apk, which is generated when it's published.

    I see what your saying instead if signing in my mac I'll sign in my windows see if that works
