quick question about music

If my song is in MP4 format, will it work in the final product....

I guess what I am asking is that I know iphone has to have .ogg format but for some reason it will only "play music" when its in mp4 format and not .ogg..

Thanks for any help....

    M4 Format sorry.... brain has been fried trying to finish this thing up!!

    Sound effects should be in the .ogg format
    Background music should be in the .m4a format.

    GameSalad also accepts the .caf format for both sound effects and music. .caf files are uncompressed - which means they load much faster, but the file size is also much larger.
