Need a bit of help with GameCircle, confused...

I have been doing everything over and over again, and I cannot get game circle to work when downloaded from the Google Play store. I've asked amazon if this was possible, and they added that it is compatible and should be working. I always receive the "Invalid API Key" crap error when I try to login. I've gone through EVERY tutorial, every possible thread in the community and I can find no answer. When someone has a problem, and they manage to solve it, the thread goes quiet. I'm tearing my hair out. lol Please help me out guys this is crazy.

I've asked Amazon about the problem and they have replied::

"Please make sure to make the required changes to your AndroidManifest.xml file in your games build.
https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/engage/gamecircle/docs/initialize-android

Specifically








If you do not have this setup, with your package name, when you attempt to log in with GameCircle, it will not receive the callback correctly from our API and your game will not be able to work with GameCircle on non-Amazon Android devices."

My package name is correct in all the areas that I have access to. What am I doing wrong here?

    You could try generating an API key from google play and then placing that inside the Android API key prior to generating your APK file. See if that does the trick?

    I dont even know Google allows Amazon to use GC through google play, so will need to do some research on this

    Thats just what i asked Amazon. If I could use GC on a Google Play game, and the support rep said yes...but that is coming from Amazon. So I still don't know.

    Interesting suggestion about using the Google play API Key. I'll give anything a try. Thanks a lot for your suggestion, I hope I can find a solution soon. It's getting stressful not having anything that I do work.

    it appears that Amazon, after looking into my apk further, has indicated that gamesalad is using an outdated version of GameCircle. (reported the issue to GS) Not sure what to make of this, but I might actually be moving forward with this info. Sucks not being able to really do anything about it...still tinkering.

    really? thats not good. Someone at GS needs to keep their finger on the pulse!
