When to upload binary to ITC?
I have a game that is very nearly finished, just artwork and music/sounds to finish.
I have to upload a binary before May 15th in order to keep the games name, my question is should I upload a incomplete binary much sooner in order to make sure I keep my games name? what is Apple's stance on this?
This is my first game, so excuse my ignorance.
Cheers,
Loaded.

Anyone?...
just upload anything and reject it right after. as far as Apple stance I don't think they have one.
I want to say that I read someones post, may be have @SlickZero 's, that said something like you can press the upload binary button, which extends the period of time you have...Don't quote me on that though.
Yea just upload the not completed game, wait an hour and go back in and reject the binary.
@jonmulcahy Cool, will this stop the name squatting restriction too?
Not permanently, but you get another few mths I think. I've done it a few times.
Cheers @jonmulcahy
I'm hoping I can uploaded complete but unfinished binary if that makes sense and upload the proper finished version before the release date.
I'm guessing I can update the binary as many times as I like before the scheduled release date?
Anyone?
@Loaded A binary is uploaded and goes into review unless you delete it. So you have to delete it to stop it going to review. Yes you can upload as many times before a release date but there is no point because if the binary is not rejected it will go to review and you will have a problem then.
Cheers @lycettebros Not sure I understand why there would be a problem?!
If I uploaded a binary and it gets approved, but before the release date I update the app surely I can upload the new version before the release date?
Should have google before now, but this answers my question...

Thanks to everyone who helped along the way
Yes you can upload it and replace it but remember once it is uploaded the binary goes into review mode.
