Issues with Apple Uploading... PLEASE HELP!

in iPhone and Android Publishing

Hi there, I was following the GameSalad manual to uploading your game to the App Store and I was reading the last line of section 3.2 which read...

"Drag the .mobileprovision onto the Xcode icon in the dock to install the Distribution Provisioning Profile on your computer."

But when I do so, Xcode doesn't respond, or sometimes the icon jumps up and down but then the application doesn't respond. It's almost like the file isn't compatible with Xcode. Anyone else have this problem before?

Please help! Thanks so much!

    Open Xcode go to XCode/Preferences/Accounts(Make sure your password has been entered)/View Details and click the circular refresh button. This will update all your certificates and profiles.

    I've done all that but it still doesn't work (Application Xcode doesn't respond). Well at least I think it doesn't. How do I tell if it's been installed on my computer? (An installer window didn't pop up)

    After you refresh look through the list and see if it is there.
