How do you save the highest score in a game?

I'm trying to save the highest score in a game using the save attribute but I cannot seem to make it work. Any advice?

    Have you taken a look at the GameSalad Cookbook videos about scorekeeping? Here's a link if you haven't.

    And this video explains loading and saving attributes specifically.
