You may want to check the target device's screen size and aspect ratio. For example, there are two iphone screen sizes and resolutions, as well as several ipad screen sizes and resolution, although one ipad aspect ratio.

    Good luck!

I have tried all suggested splash screen resolutions, but none of them are universal. Some worked fine on some devices, others not at all. I ended up using a transparent png with "loading" and a small image centered, in the lowest suggested resolution. Not ideal but at least looks right on all devices I've checked.

  • What dimensions you guy use?
I used 800x1280, but it displayed not right, it's not fit the screen.

on android I've been creating a splash screen scene in GS and just using a black screen for when it launches, it was having some rotation issues before.

It will not fit the screen on all devices since it will not stretch, so the best option is to have the logo not to big in the middle so that it always shows. Not what you want to hear probably but I see no other option. I hope I am wrong ;)

  • @Jonmulcahy, great idea and I think I'll follow you. Thanks.

  • @LumpApps‌, you are right.
I think GS team should check and work on this.

  • This is how it display. Is it GS issue?

I'm having the same issue on Android. My splash screen only loads for half a second overstretched like yours then the display goes black for 5 seconds before the game starts. Really annoying hey.

there is an issue with splash screens on android. upload a black image to the publishing portal and just have a custom scene in the project with your splash screen.

  • @jonmulcahy‌ I often do that but GS should fix it. I wish it can be the same like IOS publishing.

Why have to submit? GS team don't know what they have to fix?

@Skyrocket_Entertainment search the bug database if it not there submit a report or it wont get done. Like a lot of things if no one is complaining it nothing gets done.

I have the same issue: on devices with smaller resolution and CPU the splash screen is awfully overscanned and it's followed by several seconds of black. Please fix or tell us how to avoid this!
