Layer issue

in Working with GS (PC)

When I drag an actor from the media tab over to the stage window It deletes my background layer. Am I doing something wrong? Why doesn't it show both as layers?

    @virgo1487@gmail.com‌ , from the media tab? Well if you drag an image onto an existing actor, the image replaces the one that was there before. Create an actor first, by dragging the image into the actor pane, and then drag it onto the scene.
