Check back in a couple weeks for a Step-by-Step tutorial for Connect-Four, with writable tables and score keeping.
Sorry it has taken me longer than a couple weeks. I have had a few unexpected obligations that have kept me from finishing up the tutorial. It is coming soon.
It's been over a year ...
The guy owes nobody nothing, he has already given the community some cool stuff. If he chose to release the template some time then that's cool but he has no obligation to do so.
And also, Ed's math sucks. In most countries 9 months and 10 days are under a year.
And yes, that goes for the person who clicked agree as well...
Aha , Soz guys didn't read his posts before saying that
his templates are great I agree , thks guys @pHghost @JSproject @PureEpicStudios
Aha I look a bit stupid now ,
Sim! It's something that I am considering doing after my next to games are published.
No worries. No one is judging. (Just laughing a little.)
Hey guys,
I started the connect-four tutorial here http://goo.gl/PjkGv3
But around the time I finished part 2, I heard about the new functions coming into nightly builds, such as searchable tables, which would make connect-four a lot less complicated and have a lot faster loading times. So, motivation to finish the 3rd part pretty much dropped.
But you all bringing this thread back up is making me consider making another connect-four tutorial or just template with the latest gs functions. It would be free at The Developer Depot. Thoughts? @JSproject, @Ed_-_Turret_Games, @pHghost
@PureEpicStudios if you are going to make more free tutorials/templates (appreciated of course) then my suggestion is that you focus on what you want to make yourself to keep you motivated.
