Amazon 1280 x 720

To qualify for Amazon Developer select, you need to have screenshots of 1280 x 720 for the game. Does this means games that are say 420 x 340 stretched to 1280x720 count? Or does the game actually have to have a resolution of 1280 x 720?

I need to know as I'm about to start a new game for the game jam, and I want to know what res I should go for.

    Start as high as you can .. 420 x 340 is really low!

    Always start either for 1280x or 1024x ipad. Then you will qualify. Amazon only award developer select if your game is HD optimised, Game circle included. Fire TV isnt a requirement.

    @beefy_clyro I see, I always thought the RI made up for the low res.

    @jigglybean I see, thanks, up until now, I thought low res with RI on was the way to go until I saw the Amazon select. Thanks for the detailed answer.
