Assets file but no project Icon

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I seem to have lost the project. I have the asset file with everything in it. Is there a way to get it back into game salad?

    Did you ever publish the project through the publishing portal? If so there is a download project button that you can use to download your project files.

    Thanks Jamie for answering so quickly. No I never published it , it was just a project that I was experimenting with and my kids were playing on the computer and ...it's magically disappeared,Imagine that! I just can't find the little project icon .....
