First official art work for Gigi and Lily's Room!

Any creative criticism is welcomed. Admittedly, I am the artist as well as programmer.

Briefly this game is one of 5 projects that I am currently working on in GS and will be released later in the year along with a multiplayer Clash of Clans type game using GS 13.0, when it comes out. It is also the only educational app that I will be releasing in 2015.

What do you think of the artwork as well as layout? The Circle in the upper Right hand side, above the red clock is a menu button.

    I love it. I know criticism is more helpful than praise but I don't have an artist's eye to be able to comment on much other than the fact that the bright colors, 3D depth, and playfulness of the image appeals to me and most likely to my mini-me's (ages 4 and 8).

    Honestly I think it looks great. It reminds me a lot of Doc Mcstuffins which is a good thing.... Good luck

    The graphics are really good! You dont leave room for much criticism! :smiley:
    Good luck with the game, also really looking forward seeing more of the Clash of Clans type of game you're working on! Sounds cool

    Very polished. Nice complementing colours, good composition, not too cluttered and clean visuals. If there's room for improvement it's neatly tucked away somewhere :smiley:

    @robertkdale Looking excellent and most professional to me, Robert. :smile:

    Constructive crits. as I see it: not sure that the Menu button is obvious enough for a child (or even an adult perhaps) and confuses matters because of the name card Gig and lily right at the front. Perhaps they can be combined to make the Menu button at the bottom of the screen (in the centre or right?)

    Am I missing something: the game is called Gigi and Lily but only one character is showing? Unless Lily's hat is Gigi (or vice versa?)

    P.S Lovely colorway in the illustration. :smile:

    Thanks gyroscope! I Think that making the name card into a menu system is an excellent idea! Also, Gigi is the girl and Lily is her hat. Thanks for the input. I definitely will be turning the name card into a clickable menu system. :)
