So I have a sling shot where the player can drag and release a ball to bounce off the walls. All that is good. However, there's times when the balls crazy and I wanted to create something simple like this video below.
How these fishes/balls bounce etc

Turn the crazy setting to less than you currently have it ?
P.S what do you mean by 'there's times when the ball's crazy' ?
If you're using the Bounciness setting for the ball and whatever it hits, try playing with that setting until you get the results you want. Bounciness values of greater than 1 increase the bounciness over time so maybe that is causing your insanity?
I've been playing around with the friction/bounce etc.
When it goes crazy, its bounces side to side VERY fast! I guess it needs a control to slow it down, or make it stop when it touches the floor.
I guess its just trial and error to make the bounce flow as smooth as the video.
I'm sure you're aware of it but remember to adjust the physics settings of BOTH actors since they affect each other.
Another thing to consider would be to set a maximum speed for the ball in its actor attributes and see if that will help.
