Game Rejected because of rotating ads

Hi,

My latest app Falcon Fail was in review but got rejected. Here is what Apple says:

...2.2 Details

We discovered one or more bugs in your app when reviewed on iPad running iOS 8.1.3 .

If user fails to remove ads before the first one appears, it manifests sideways with no dismiss button. Rotating the iPad to portrait, then landscape will reorient the ad, but dismiss button is still inaccessible. One must force quit the app and re-launch to gain access to the purchase button.

The steps to reproduce are:

Launch app
Play a game or two until ad appears.
Try to dismiss ad and return to play or purchase
...

I have the autorotation in the projects set to Landscape Left = true on both 2 scenes.
and in publishing both landscape modes are true.

I use UB and published with 0.12.20

Anyone else getting this or am I missing something?
I'll try making an ad hoc and turn on Autorotate Landscape Right = true as well. If that works I'll post again.

Cheers!

Just did some testing. Enabling both Autorotate Landscape Right and Autorotate Landscape Left did not help.
I also made a new project just to test with only an "change scene with ad" button. Same thing. I'm lost.

Just an idea… Is the app orientation set up correctly in the settings in chartboost?

I'm using revMob but I'll check...

@NipaDidIt I don't see an option anywhere. Thanks for the suggestion.

Ok. I don't know if revmob has that option. I have only used chartboost and there is an app orientation setting.

I believe it has to be set from within the project. But I'm not sure. This is all I can find:

    1.6.0 (2012/07/03)
    New Added a Ad Link.
Update Fullscreen and banner now only rotates to orientation defined in the shouldAutorotateToInterfaceOrientation of the rootViewController.
Bugfix Fullscreen rotation is now working for iOS 4 too.

I filed a bug report. I don't know where to look anymore. If anyone has any idea please post.

Just set it to only one landscape mode.

If anyone is flipping their device to have the home key on the left then they already have enough problems.

I agree but it's still a bug. I got some people complaining about it in another app where the UB forced me to do so. I'm a lefty myself so can understand. Thanks for you suggestion. I will go that way for now.

I tried this but that didn't help either. It is in landscape right now in the publishing system. And I have tried with no auto-rotation in creator checked and after that didn't work with just autorotate right checked in creator as well. Both gave me a revmob add as in earlier provided screenshots.
I guess I'll have to wait for whenever RC0.13.5 comes out but I think that really sucks.

Another think I can try is using Playhaven for now because I have that set up allready (never used Chartboost). But I didn't get any reports from that since august. Is Playhaven even still working with GS?
