Can I play my game without having an Apple ID?

can i ? i just want to play the game by my self on my ios device i don't want to publich it to the app store or anything like that.

    in order to publish to a device you need an apple ID. That is a requirement from apple. You can't generate and sign a build without one.

    I suppose you could create a game to be published in the Arcade, then play the game in your browser on the device. Of course at that point its not a stand alone app and you'll need an active internet connection to play it but it will be free.
