which chartboost ad type works best for you?

Hey everyone

I have chartboost in my apps and currently i am using static ads in my games. I just want to know if any has tried the other ad types like video ads,rewarded video ads,more games ads ect... Which is the best one to use in your opinions or experiences. Thanks ya'll

    I've tried video ads with chartboost on Android and it did better than static ads. On other platforms I'm not sure.

    With video ads, there's no way we can do rewarded video with Gamesalad ... right????

    @phamtastic it on our list to add for 0.14 or 0.15. There is a feature request in the bug database.

    Hey yeah i assume rewarded. Installs dont go well with apple.

    If your talking about play haven more games, apple will reject you app if you try using it. Cant advertise games in a store format that do not belong to you.

    @Lovejoy I meant for chartboost they have a more games app icon. There is an option. For it.

    Ah sorry i misread, i don't think its supported or is even in the works for being supported.

    So - Chartboost pays your for installs (and sometimes CPC but thats lower priority). You should add a custom frame on chartboost to increase CTR on your ads which will lead to higher monetization. You can change these without having to update the client, and changing them often is a strategy to keep ads from coming stale. Also, if you want to maximize the tradeoff from bad UX for ads and making money, set your campaign parameters to have a higher minimum bid, meaning you wont show ads from advertisers who will only give you pennies.

    Video ads are really bad UX and while they pay more, so I only recommend those for rewards.
