Hello everyone, it's been a while but I am finally getting back into game creation. I got a bit frustrated when my games did't do all that great so I walked away for a bit but couldn't stop thinking about making games. I have refocused on why I wanted to make games in the first place so hopefully the rest will fall in place. I know we all want to make the next big title, but for now I am having fun just making the artwork and graphics. My goal is to make something very polished and fun.
Please stay tuned for more as I plan on posting pictures along the way. I do have to say that @kirafu has been such a inspiration with his amazing work on his game Roll Turtle (http://forums.gamesalad.com/discussion/69605/my-new-game-roll-turtle-gamedev-progress-prototype-art/p1)
Anyway, I just wanted to say Hello again and I will be updating this post with some images and game progress.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments. I just wanted to come back and make something really polished and fun. I liked my games but I wanted to put more of an effort into this one. The "game" mechanics are all in tact, I just want to add a lot of flair (like interactive menus and colorful, cheerful backgrounds etc). I will keep updating so please keep it here.

Thanks again everyone for the nice comments. Today's picture would be of the 3 main characters. I have been slowly working on the menu part of the game and I hope to have a video up soon. I will also begin working on the background this week. Although there is no programming in GS, I find the "programming" part to be very hard so that's why I am taking my time with this one. I want everything to be polished. Honestly, like people before me have said, I love reading the comments and feedback from this thread. It gives me the "strength" to keep going! The App Store seems to have an excess of bird themed games. So I was a little suprized to see that you were making another one. Of course you totally played off of that, and after seeing your birds, well, this is going to be a very good (if not great) game!
Wow thanks. Yeah, it does have a ton of bird games so I am trying to go with that "idea"....It's a simple game but I wanted to take my time and make something special (hopefully). It's been hard for me for some reason but I really wanted to get back into game design. Keep your fingers crossed for me

There are so many blue sky and green hill bird games maybe something totally crazy. But it really depends on the game.

Here is a quick video preview of what the menu could look like. This is subject to change but I wanted to give a quick update and overall "feel" of the menu and how it may look. I still need to work on some things but you guys get the basic gist. I will be working on this (hopefully) more this week.
I like it. Maybe that evening stars background throughout the whole game?
