Until they fix the garbage collection issues, don't. It's slower than it should be on Mavericks, but it's REALLY slow on Yosemite. You'll spend more time looking at a beachball than actually working on your games. Fix is in progress, though, so hopefully this will change soon!
It is straight up not optimized for Yosemite, but hey, there is a slew of apps out there that are not running tip-top at the moment. Not as perky, but it works.

@CodeMonster - You're very lucky then! Also running Yosemite, 13.7, 16gb RAM - was barely getting 2 minutes out of it before it was unusable before I found my cache trick, now back to getting ~10 minutes. Really looking forward to a properly fixed version though!

I have partitioned my hd and install Yosemite, I use it only for pubblish my app. I work with last version of GS on mountain lion. It's work fine.
