Black screen for half a second before splash screen starts

Hello everyone in game salad, I am just testing my game on the iPhone and there is a black screen for about half a second before my splash screen starts, is this normal? Because in other games I have seen in the App Store, the game just starts with the splash screen straight away.

    Are you adding the splash screen on the gamesalad publishing page? Are you putting it directly in your project?

    Hi, yes i have added it on the game salad publishing page, and i haven't put the splash screen in my project.
