falling actors

Ok so im looking for help to achieve this.

I want to have 4 actors, all different, that spawn from out of the scene and fall into the scene. They fall side by side and once at the bottom spawn again but into a different order. Im having trouble getting the actors to spawn randomly and only one of each spawn. I tried one of t-shirt booths videos on this but they simply wouldn't spawn. Its gonna be like dodge a certain actor game. the start to fall faster and faster too just to bare in mind. Any help would be great, thanks

    thankyou tat, this is what i am after but i cant seem to change it so 4 actors fall in 4 different positions, which are 4 different colours and only once of each colour is used each time. iv been kicking myself trynna do it. any idea?

    thanks though, i learnt a lot from the demo already :)
