A way to set up a simulator/viewer for a client

I'm doing a tutorial type of app for a teacher on GS. And she lives quite a distance from me. I would like to be able to set her up so that she can view the process as I go along ,actually open up the GS project or view a simulation . She is unfortunately running Snow Leopard so having her download gamesalad herself is out . I'm sort of left with dropping little snippets of video on Tinypic. Anybody come up with a workaround for this kind of situation? Maybe an older version of GS that would work on OSX 10.6?

Could you Skype or something similar and display your screen activity during the call?

You can build a Mac application (just change the platform type temporarily), download it, and then send it to her. It's a lot of time devoted to something more easily handled over Skype, as @jamie_c mentioned.

Yes, Skype is probably the way to go... @tatiang I am interested in your comment . How would this work... are you saying that if I were to throw a demo together for like macBook or 720p and then download it to a site somewhere....???

@floatingwoo When I work with clients, I typically use TestFlight which allows them to try the app on their actual mobile devices. But it also means they have to provide their UUID and I have to add them to a provisioning profile, etc. So what I've done sometimes is to build the app as a Mac app (yes, let's say MacBook) in GameSalad and then during the publishing phase in GameSalad (http://publish.gamesalad.com), there's a point at which you can download a playable Mac application. Sorry, it's been quite some time since I've actually done this so I'm being a big vague about the steps. I would then just .zip the file and email or Dropbox it to my client.

Edit: here's the Download button on the publishing page:

@tatiang, I believe Mac app publishing is a pro feature. You could consider publishing it to the arcade for test, but unfortunately that can be buggy in certain browsers.

    Ah, you're right @jamie_c. I just checked: http://gamesalad.com/pricing.

Skype, or go PRO and build a quick Mac app or .apk

Should probably go pro anyways if your doing this as a business. Theres is a new affordable monthly payment plan, get on board.

@tatiang, I'm always forgetting what is pro and what is free...

Yes , I do intend to go pro, I'm really only at the beginning stages of two projects right now and it may take...it will take a few months if I stay focused. Thanks for all your help...skype it is!
