How do you make the object look like its turning?

in Working with GS (PC)

Ok, I have a spaceship and I made it look like its getting closer when the start screen comes up, but I want to make it look like the spaceship is getting closer in a curving motion. I tried to use move to attributes to do that, but that isn't working. Does anyone know a better way?

    Can you like to a movie or animation that has similar effect to what you are trying to create? Would help a lot to see a sample.
