Table optimization demo with photo slideshow app
I had wanted to present something like this at a monthly GameSalad Meetup but my schedule doesn't allow for that right now so I decided to record myself explaining this and provide the video and project file to the community.
I start with a sample photo slideshow with multiple pages laid out as separate scenes and then show you how to combine them into a single scene and automate the process through the use of tables and more efficient expressions. While the photo slideshow is an example of how this might be used, it can also just as easily be used to create menu systems, help text systems, character dialogue, eBooks, "dress up" apps, student progress charts, and anything else where similarly formatted images and/or text are repeatedly displayed across many scenes.

Looking forward to watching it!
Very nice, super efficient! I like the star rating system too.
@tatiang Great tutorial, big |T|
Thank you @tatiang !
You're welcome! Glad people like it. @Summation, I didn't mention it in the video but I always prefix my table names with |T| so that they stand out in the list of game attributes when using the attribute browser.
I know, I just gave you a new nickname!
