Copy the actor and use it as a base for the new actor. You can copy and paste with the edit menu or by holding down the option key and dragging the actor in the actors palette.

Alt + drag a new copy of the actor within the Actors window.

once you make a copy, just drag the new image into the actor, or open the actor and change the image.

you can also copy them right in the actor list on the left hand side. just hightlight it and command-c command-v.

I am looking to do the same thing, but not working for me. If I click and drag an image it just moves it in my actor list but does not create a copy. if I try the Alt+ click and drag GameSalad crashes. Any suggestions?
