Universal, yes or no?

I have been working on a game for some time now and I only want to make it for the iPhone. Would it really have a big impact in download/sales if i didn't make it universal?

Thanks

    Hey @VeiraGames

I read somewhere that Apple will not feature a game if it isn't supported on all devices (universal). I could be wrong about this as I haven't looked into it much.

Making a game just for iPad i understand due to the bigger play area, but to make a game for - iPhone only - seems like nonsense to me. At least when it comes to Gamesalad, since its so easy to implement universal binaries.

@VeiraGames , also you want your game to be accessible to as many users as possible.

Each user will potentially act as a multiplier, spreading the word further, in return bringing more users.

Ideally you cover as many bases as possible, therefore Universal for iOS and Android.
