"error update to latest version" when trying to log in.

in Working with GS (Mac)

im trying to whip up some more templates, but i cant, when i try logging into the gamesalad creator using the RC version, it says "error, update to latest version"
i am using the latest version? any help, cheers.

    If you're using a RC, you're not using the latest version :D The last RC was before the new login system was implemented, which is presumably the problem.

    I have projects that only open with rc :/ @Armelline

    Just rename the files to .gameproj (on Mac - unsure how it works on PC)
