Needing help with app testing

Hi everyone! I'm new to developing apps so sorry if this is a dumb question. :p I just really need an answer about app testing. I understand that in order to test your app you have to convert it to a .ipa file, upload it to iTunes connect, and use testflight. Here's the thing though, my app isn't anywhere near finished, but I just want to make sure my graphics look good and that my save and load attributes are working before I continue. So if I upload a half finished version to iTunes connect, is that the one it's going to save to sell in the app store? And will I be able to delete it when I'm done so that it doesn't save that one? I also just want to test it on my device, I don't want other people to test it yet. What do I do about all of this? I really need to know as soon as possible. Thank you! :)

Why not test it via Ad-Hoc?

Or use the viewer to preview the game on your phone?

At least for the graphic part of it.

Use Xcode in order to load adhoc onto your iPhone or iPad. You can drag and drop.

@kelseabarker ...Try following this procedure in my tutorial....make sure you sign your app in the GS publisher with an adhoc provisioning profile before you do it.

@Thunder_Child Thank you so much! That makes sense. ;) I guess I need to upgrade to pro to test it so I'll do that. Thanks!
