yosemite?

Ive read older posts on upgrading to yosamite. Is it ok to update to Yosamite now?

    @gattoman, yes if your machine has enough RAM. Yosemite uses more RAM and is heavier on the system. Installing Yosemite on my old 4Gig MacMini (2011 ed) made everything crawl, so I downgraded again. On my later machines everything runs perfectly, including GS.

    Since 0.13.7 or so GameSalad has been absolutely great on Yosemite. Definitely no need to worry about upgrading as far as GameSalad is concerned.

    Was that a clean install or did you upgrade ?

    @tmann are you talking about Yosemite of GS? Of GS I always do a clean install.

    I upgraded my mid 2010 mini mac 8gb to Yosemite and GS works perfect.

    Im running an 2012 i5 airmac with 4 gb. I might hold off until I upgrade then.....

    Yeah it runs great on my Late 2013 Mac Book Pro.

    I'm running Yosemite and on my iMac 5k the OS uses more than 4gb ram but GS runs great on it.

    I meant Yosemite :) Despite popular beliefs Macs can slow down heavily if you area busy user and a clean OS install can often make the world of difference.
