Kindle IAP not working?

in Working with GS (Mac)

Hey everyone. I followed all the instructions over here http://help.gamesalad.com/gamesalad-cookbook/7-using-pro-features/7-03-adding-in-app-purchases-iap/7-03-3-setting-up-iap-for-amazon-2/

and I couldn't get it to work. It worked fine when testing the game on IOS platforms..
Is there anything I'm missing?

    it worked a few months ago when I published a few games. Make sure you read the directions on that page twice, you might have missed something.

    Did you test it on your device before publishing?
    Are you API keys correct?
    Did you download and install the json file to your device
    Did you download the Amazon tester app?

    do you need to test before publishing? Shouldnt it work regardless? I thought the JSON file was for testing only.. Nevertheless I suppose I can test it too but I'm guessing it should work either way. Am I wrong?
