Does anyone know how to monetize html5 published games?

Does anyone know the benefits to publishing in html5? Excluding being able to submit games for Game Jams.

Is there a way to monetize these games?

    Submit your game to sites like gamejolt, etc. They give you a percentage of the ad revenue showing in their page

    i did not do it yet but in case you have it on your own page you can also create admob banners and use their Url to post above or below your game within the post/page
