New to Gendai Games // GameSalad at Casual Connect

I just wanted to take a minute and introduce myself to the community. I'm the newest member of the growing Gendai Team, and am very excited about being a part of GameSalad and its future! I'm a long-timer in the games industry, an avid gamer, and I'm definitely looking forward to trying out all of the cool games from everyone here.

My focus here will be on the business side of things, so my contributions will be a little less technical then some of the other head chefs, but feel free to ask me anything and I'll try to reply with useful info.

I also wanted to let everyone know that we will be at Casual Connect Seattle (http://seattle.casualconnect.org/ ) which takes place the week after next from July 20-22, and that early discounted registration ends TOMORROW (Saturday 7/10)! So if you're planning on going, please let us know and if there's enough interest, we'll see if we can set up meetings or a gathering!

    Welcome! I've always wondered how many Gendai Games people actually work at GameSalad. I've always assumed it was just a small handful.

    Thank you for all the kinds words of welcome! I'll be sure to add yellow posts whenever I can contribute positively to the discussions. But for now:

    -I have personally walked around the office and asked for "more features". This was met with a variety of looks depending on that person's role here, but you can now be confident that there are "more features" coming.

    -I am related to Suzanne Freyjadis (-Chuberka), the game scholar, and have the joy and privilege of being married to her for over 16 years.

    -I'll get myself added to the large profile thread as soon as I can. At the moment, I'm very busy with some cool projects, but will share all of my er... um... fascinating details with everyone soon.

    Again, thank you all and keep up the amazing work. I'm loving the creations that I've seen so far!
