Windows vs OS X

I was looking this video here, where jamie did a comparison to the windows version I am not used to work with.
http://www.jamie-cross.net/?portfolio=gamesalad-macintosh-and-windows-interface-side-by-side-comparison#.VpNp2Db5ylM
After looking this video I was astounded about how much better the windows version is. Is that just my personal opinion or do you think (you who are watched the video or tried it out for yourself) that too?
Is there any possibility that we get the features of windows in the near feature in OS X too, or should I just start using Windows and my mac just to publish?
I mean Features like:
changing Attributes of an Actor on the Fly and really having everything on one screen without forcing me to click back, check it and then go back in again to change it, you know what I mean. Why is the OS X Version in that perspective so much behind?

I would love to see the backstage window on Mac but in someways I like the Mac UI better.
