Trouble opening a .gsproj

in Working with GS (Mac)

Hi, I found some older project examples on the forum I want to check out, but they are in .gsproj.

I tried tried adding on the .gameproj to the end of the file but it still will not work.
Any ideas?

    When you rename the file, does the icon change to the GameSalad project file icon? What happens when you try to open the file?

    @tatiang yes, the icon changes but a get a pop up in my dock call bugSplatReporter...not sure what that is

    It means that GameSalad crashed. I'm not sure what to suggest... you could post a link to the template(s) you're having trouble with or upload a zipped copy here and I can take a look.

    Hmm... it opened just fine for me in GameSalad Creator 1.24.40 after renaming it to add the .gameproj extension. I saved it with a new name... maybe this will open for you.

    Maybe I misunderstood but I thought he was trying to open an old Windows project file on a Mac.
