How to create behavior for pedometer?

in Working with GS (Mac)

Hi there? Does any guy know how to crete pedometer in GS ?
I intend to work all the day without open game.

The pedometer does not need accurate well.
I want to use the walk counts as points in the game.

    I don't think gamesalad can track steps taken.

    Is it possible to make use of ..... like a accelerometer?

    GS can't monitor the accelerometer when the app is closed. Gamesalad is primarily a game development tool. Although the features do allow some general app design it is not the ideal tool for projects like this.
