anything even images if you have them in the font format ( guess limited to single color)

just download them and drag em in the font tap and select them in display text

Just go to the new Fonts tab, near the Images and Sounds tab on the Macintosh version and import your font file there. Once it's imported it's immediately available for use.

Is there a way I can surpass that, what if I wrote the words in reverse LTR, can it be displayed then RTL?

@GeorgeGS I faced the same problem with Photoshop, but I used this site to reverse the word and the issue was resolved.

Hi! My whole game is based on arabic text display from a table (flashcards) It was working with the previous versions of game salad but since I updated it, the letters are reversed and showing up individually(not merged or cursif), it there a fix for this?? It was working before, thats why I am confused. I have tried importing fonts and using the ones already in the software but nothing is working. :( Please help!

And there are over 600 arabic words so it will be difficult to create individual images for each word, the logic is pulling them from a table.

    Use this site

It will reverse your Arabic word.
Copy/paste the reversed word into GS and it will appear normal.

Thank you, I did try that but the letters are not showing up "merged " like they should. they are showing up as individual block letters.

@abuabed84 Has it worked for you? Please let me know what font you are using if it has.

Yes, it has worked with all the fonts I've tried.
Download another font maybe the one you are using doesn't work.

Okay it seems to be working but the punctuations for some words are not coming out correctly. Is there a way to fix this?

  • 3absh3absh Member Posts: 601

Try a different font that includes Arabic punctuation marks.
