From iPad to HTML5

Hello guys,
I'm working on a game that will be universal for ipad and iphone, but being this more of a promo thing, we were planning to add a free/no ads html version of the game to share online.

I tried to export the original project (the one built for ipad) to html5, but the performances are VERY laggy, very slow, generally a pretty bad game experience.

Is this because it comes from an ipad project? Are the assets too big maybe?

Any experience with this?

Thanks!

Html5 engine is different than the native engines that are used for apps and viewer, there are bugs and limitations , unfortunately gamesalad introduced html5 publishing but did not show it any love. So most of our games do not function properly. You can find workarounds to some bugs , but overall performance is way behind other platforms.

I've found some games run better in HTML5, some games run worse.
